Article 17

In His priestly office, Christ sanctified Himself and appeared once to put away sin by the single sacrifice of Himself. Through it He fully accomplished and endured everything God required for the salvation of His elect, removing the rites and shadows of the former order. He has entered the heavenly sanctuary, the presence of God. He also makes His people a spiritual house and holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Him. The Father accepts no other worship or worshipers, nor does Christ offer any others to the Father.¹
