Article 29

All believers are holy and sanctified people. Sanctification is a spiritual grace of the new covenant and an effect of God's love manifested in the soul. Through it the believer pursues heavenly and gospel-shaped obedience to all the commands Christ, as head and king, has prescribed in His new covenant.¹
