Article 6

All the elect, loved by God with everlasting love, are redeemed, made alive, and saved not by themselves or their works, so that no one may boast, but entirely by God's free grace and mercy through Jesus Christ. God has made Christ our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, and all in all, so that whoever boasts may boast in the Lord.¹
