Article 2

In this divine and infinite Being are the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. Each possesses the whole divine essence, yet the essence is undivided. All three are infinite and without beginning, and therefore there is only one God, who is not divided in nature or being, but is distinguished by the particular properties belonging to each person.¹
