Article 23

All who receive this precious faith through the Spirit can never fall away finally or completely, for God's gifts are irrevocable. He continues to produce and nourish faith, repentance, love, joy, hope, and every grace of the Spirit in them unto eternal life. Though storms and floods beat upon them, they cannot be torn away from the foundation and rock to which faith has joined them. Unbelief and Satan's temptations may temporarily obscure their awareness of God's light and love, but God remains the same and keeps them by His power for salvation. Their inheritance was purchased for them, their names were written in the book of life from eternity, and they are engraved on the palms of His hands.¹
