Article 35

All Christ's servants, whatever their station, must acknowledge Him as their prophet, priest, and king and join His household, presenting their bodies, souls, and gifts to His government. In this enclosed sheepfold and watered garden they are to live in communion with His saints, assured of their inheritance, and supply each other's spiritual and material needs. Though each person retains ownership of personal property, they must provide for those in need so that Christ's name is not dishonored by want within His church. Each member is assigned a proper place and use according to God's gifts, and the whole body is joined together, each part working effectively for the body's growth in love.¹
